The love for the game runs deep. Our passion fuels our desire to create a safe and fun environment to develop that same love of the game in all of our athletes.
About the SSC team
love & Basketball
The Strafford Sports Center has been in creation years before the foundation was set. Coming from a long line of basketball lovers, SSC has been a long-time dream of ours. There was also a major need for a basketball complex in the area, so it was the perfect timing to make that dream a reality. So from our family to yours, we hope your love for the game grows, and we can’t wait to witness the development in your skills and love for basketball.

The mcshane family
Troy and Micki McShane, along with their daughter, Bentli, are very excited about the future of the SSC. Troy graduated from Strafford and loves seeing the families he grew up with now having kids of their own who will be playing at the center. Bentli, who is 10, loves the game of basketball. She currently participates on two teams and is very eager to play at the new facility with her friends. Troy, Micki and Bentli enjoy traveling, spending time at the lake and keeping busy with different activities they are involved in within the community.
