Strafford Sports Center is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for athletes to learn and grow in their love for sports. We have set up policies for the game, the athletes, the spectators, and all steps of the process in playing at the SSC. Please familiarize yourself with these policies. We encourage all coaches and fans to know and adhere to these policies and remember that we are trying to set examples for our athletes to become character-driven.

APPLICABLE LAW

CHANGES IN POLICY
Clearent LLC reserves the right to modify, alter, delete and update these policies at any time we see fit. Such alterations do not nullify our rights if infringements or breaches occurred under a previous version of these conditions.

Behavioral policy

We will provide a safe and fun environment for all of our athletes.

BEHAVIORAL POLICY

  • If a player, coach, or spectator is ejected, that individual or individuals must immediately leave the facility.
  • Anybody that is ejected is banned for a minimum of 24 hours. If a player is ejected, he or she will miss their next game.
  • All ejections will be reviewed by management and handled appropriately to ensure the safety of everyone.

We want these situations to be rare. Anyone can get emotional and make poor decisions, but cooler heads need to prevail. Authorities will be used swiftly if needed to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

game scheduling policy

How we approach scheduling and requests. We'll make every attempt to be consistent and fair.

GAME SCHEDULING POLICY

  • There is a comment box in registration for schedule requests. Please make all requests at this time and we will attempt to accommodate. Please understand that the more teams we have, the more difficult it is to make all adjustments and we cannot guarantee changes.
  • Week-of requests are extremely difficult. Those games will not be replaced for the team requesting the change & will not be refunded.
  • We will do our best to fill that game with another opponent for the opposing team.

weather cancellation policy

WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of dangerous weather we will always err on the side of caution. Games will be made up on normal days of play or an alternative day if possible. If those days are not available, we will extend the league if possible to play canceled games. If your game is canceled due to weather, expect to play on an alternative day, most likely the weekend.

payment policy

All of the information you need to know about payments.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Payment may be made online at registration or on day of first game by cash, check, or credit card.
  • If no payment has been received by the team's 3rd game, a late fee of $25 will be assessed. If no payment has been made by the 5th game, the team will forfeit the remainder of the league and not be allowed to register for future leagues until balance is paid.
  • Multi team discounts for 4 + teams entered.

refund policy

Our policy on refunds. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

REFUND POLICY

REFUND FOR LEAGUES:

  • Minimum 2 weeks notice before the start of the league
  • Less than 2 weeks notice may result in penalties per management. This will be handled by case

REFUND FOR TOURNAMENTS:

  • Handled on a case by case basis at the discretion of the tournament director.
  • If SCC is not the director, we may have no say on director policy for refund.
